It was great and is exactly the color that i wanted. Also it fits my hair pretty well!
natural ingredients, my hair is not dry after bleaching, will recommend this product
The color was easy to apply and has lasted me till now, still some leftover in the box too for the next use! Very satisfied with this product.
I was honestly not expecting to work like a gem but the moment I opened the packaging and mixed up the bleach and developer... my jaw dropped. I used multiple bleaching brands and it's either not enough product or it does not lift your hair as much, which then results in spending more money on bleach.. but for Qwerky's bleach.. omg??
My roots were level 1-2 and I left it for an hour or less (I think) and it lifted to level 6-8, which is insane. It does not burn your scalp, does not have as much chemical smell, and did not damage my roots and my ends. Other brands usually take 2 to 3 rounds of bleach to get to that level I desire, there would be hair fall, burning/ itchy scalp, but none of that for Qwerky's bleach. Truly the best bleach I have ever used.
Also, you get to save money because there are heaps of products, so equal out the portion and save the remaining for future use(?) Definitely getting more in the future
I have been using Qwerky's hair dye for the past few years now and it's still one of the best ones out there. As a person who dyes her hair often, a tub can last me up to months and it always fades out nicely. No ugly patches, uneven fade, damaged ends, nothing!
Iris is one of my go-to colours for Qwerky and it's the perfect purple shade, and honestly, it's hard to find it anywhere else. With other brands, the products are so little, it fade off within a week (max a week and a half), and they always leaves your hair dry and crispy... but for Qwerky not only is it easy to apply, smells good (no chemical smell), it is also non-damaging, fades off really nicely and it lasts you a month or two (depending on your hair I guess)
This gave me a gorgeous forest green colour that totally matches my vibe. It lasted pretty long (about 1month +1/2) considering I was my hair every day with shampoo. Qwerky colours always kept my hair healthy,, and safe to say I have become a regular customer at their store location.
I highly recommend for anyone who likes to experiment with different colour mixology (a teal green personally my favourite) or who is looking for a unique colour that gives that little bit of extra fairy core flare.
Does said job very well, does not hurt the scalp & smells good!
the bleach I've been using for the past year+ is a powder bleach, and a lot of the powder tends to flake off and fall all over my skin and floor and it's itchy
so I liked that with this cream formula there was less powdery stuff falling everywhere
smell:
I've only tried 2 other bleaches but this one is my fav in terms of scent
it's a floral smell and doesn't get as vomit chlorine as the other bleaches I've tried
consistency:
did a 1 to 1 ratio of bleach and developer
it's more runny than what I'm used to
which is better for even results bcos the bleach seeps through and covers the hair better
but because it's runny it also bled to my black side (split dye) a lot more 😢 so I guess I gotta be more careful with application next time
scalp sanity:
the last 2 times I bleached my hair my scalp burned so bad my skin was horrendously itchy and I couldn't leave the bleach on for as long as I wanted to because I couldn't deal with the pain 💀
but also I washed my hair the day before (without shampoo) and so that probably didn't help
this time I didn't wash my hair for a day and I think it helped
my scalp tingled for like 15mins at the start but I got used to it and it wasn't like painful even after 2 hours+ so i could leave it on for long enough
and I would've left it on for longer but I was scared my hair would melt off 💀
scalp is still a bit sore
overall much much better experience with scalp pain
developer:
I WISH THEY SOLD 20 AND 30VOL DEVELOPER
the developer it comes with is 25vol which is cool and all and works well
but I think I could have better control over my lift if I had more options so I can bump the developer as I apply for the front part of my hair (which i apply bleach to last) to lift faster and catch up with the back
overall:
worth it for the price
would buy again
(also topping up 10 dollars for upsized is actually so worth it, I love the brush so much the bristles are nice, the alligator clips are so useful
probably going to be the main bleach I use for my root touchups
please come up with more developer options 🙏🙏🙏
I discovered QWERKY this year and their products have always been incredible for me to have hella vibrant hair colours!
When they released their Butter Bleach and I got an opportunity to try it out, the question that came up for me was would it be worth it compared to cheap single use bleach alternatives?
The answer was 100% yes it is worth it!!!! Here’s why:
- Resealable packs so that you don’t waste any unused product!
- Quality!! For me, in literally one bleach session my hair went from black to a level 9??
- Product is filled with good stuff like oils that protect your hair, and even removed a lot of the strong bleach smell!
- Accessories that come with the butter bleach pack are high quality and helpful to protect your skin from bleach damage
After my bleach, i was able to do a pattern of Iris and Barbie, which looked super clean and vibrant due to the base that the butter bleach had created!
I’ve been recommending QWERKY to people non stop every time someone asks me about my hair, which is every day!
Really worth the price if you’re looking for a perfect base to dye your hair!!
rly cute packaging that also minimizes wastage as you squeeze out what you need then cap it back for the next time.
easy to mix and squeeze out vs those that you need to shake in a bottle for one time use and most of the time it’s not enough for my thick hair…
best bleach product i’ve tried!
firstly, the smell isn’t as strong (maybe bc it’s vegan 🤭)
secondly, it actually lifts!!! my brown hair lifted to a level 8 in one use, around 20-30 minutes just to be safe since i was going for a lighter shade of purple & blue!
overall… IT WORKS & DOESN’T DAMAGE/10! 💯🥳
it does a fantastic job without leaving your hair feeling like barbie doll that having a bad day 🤪
really pleasant and seamless process using this, not needing to worry if one packet is enough as well!
as a frequent at home hair dyer I love that a local brand has released a bleach product that’s affordable.. a bonus is that it managed to lift my black box dye pretty evenly and that it isn’t damaging at all
I love how the butter bleach doesn’t burn my hair and smells pleasant! My hair went from black/dark brown to the lightest shade of blonde with only two rounds of bleaching. It is so easy to use and the Qwerky team are the sweetest bunch as they answered every concern I had. I would definitely get it from them again. :)
