The Red Flag Routine
Must haves for a healthy and long lasting red mane
01. Red Flag No Bleach Lifting Cream
Mix dye cream with developer in a 1:1 ratio and apply on dry hair. Wash off in 30-60 minutes depending on your desired level of vibrancy.
02. Suck It Up Colour Locking Mask
Use after shampooing 3-4 times a week to prolong hair colour and keep your hair nourished.
03. What the Frizz Hair Oil
Apply on wet or dry hair for added hydration, and heat + colour protection
04. Riot Semi-Permanent Colour
When your red has faded, use Riot to bump up your red hues to its former glory. Apply on dry hair and wash off after 30-60 minutes.

FAQ
Will Red Flag damage my hair?
Red Flag contains peroxide and lifts your natural colour 2–3 levels while depositing red. We stripped out as many harsh chemicals as we could and added 12 natural oils to keep hair feeling soft, but it's still harsher than our semi-permanent shades because of the peroxide. Pair it with Suck It Up Mask afterward to give that hydration back.
Can i use this on dark, unbleached hair?
Yes, that's literally why it exists. Because it lifts as it deposits, you'll actually SEE the red show up on dark hair. No pre-bleaching required. This is the whole point of Red Flag vs Riot.
Will my hair go back to my original colour once the red fades?
No, Red Flag lightens your base 2-3 levels, permanently. Once the red washes out, you're not back to your original dark hair, you're at the lightened base underneath. This isn't a "the colour fades and you're back to square one" kind of product, but Riot Semi Permanent Dye is! Plan accordingly.
How do i keep the colour going once it starts fading?
Touch up with Riot. It's our semi-permanent, no-peroxide formula, so it won't lift your base any further. And just to be clear, "permanent" refers to the lightening effect on your base, not the red itself lasting forever. The red will still fade over time like any dye, Riot is just the safe way to top it back up without lightening your hair further.
Is it okay for sensitive skin or scalp?
We ditched ammonia and PPD, two of the biggest irritant offenders in permanent dye, so that's a real plus. But we still recommend to do a patch test first and check for any reaction before applying it fully. If you're not sure or want to play it extra safe, you can also apply away from the scalp to reduce direct skin contact.
Slight tingling sensation is normal during application and it usually disappears after a couple minutes.
