Pastel Ash Green Mixology Look

Includes 1 tub of Gaia, 1 tub of Smoke and 1-3 tubs of Suck It Up Colour Locking Hair Mask 200ml (select based on your hair length)

* Do note that your hair has to be at least level 8 (toned hair) for this look.

To get the look, start with a base of Suck It Up Colour Locking Hair Mask and add in a tiny bit of Gaia until you see your desired saturation of pastel green in the mixture. To make the colour "ashy", add in a tiny bit of Smoke at a time. Adjust the amount of Gaia and Smoke added depending on how green and ashy you want your colour to be. Do a strand test before dyeing your whole head to ensure you like the colour. Pastel looks do not last as long so you may want to start with a more saturated shade and let it fade to your desired colour over time.

For quick colour touch ups, you can prep a slightly more pigmented version of the pastel green mixture and use it in the shower to help maintain your pastel colour for longer!

Butter Bleach professional salon results - at-home hair lightening

01. Butter Bleach

Mix bleaching cream with developer in a 1:1 ratio and apply on dry hair. Wash off in 30-60 minutes depending on your desired level of lightness.

02. Semi-Permanent Colour

Apply on dry hair and wash off after 30-60 minutes to add colour and hydration back to your locks

Nope! Our semi-permanent dyes have no peroxide, no ammonia, no alcohols. They don't contain any lightening agents that lifting your natural colour, so there's no chemical process breaking anything down. It actually leaves the hair feeling softer after use. But we still recommend pairing it with Suck it Up Mask to keep that hydration locked in between colours.

Our dyes pop most on bleached hair, but some shades will still show on dark, unbleached hair under sunlight. Barbie and Riot give a red tint, and Gaia shows up as a dark green on black hair. On dark brown hair, Hey Tiger goes warm brown, Iris goes purple red, and Ocean goes green (all more visible in sunlight). Want something more obvious, or a shade not listed here? You'll need to bleach first, and Butter Bleach is a gentle at home option.

It also leaves a tint of colour on natural grey hair. We recommend shade Blackforest for the highest coverage!

Yes, our semi-permanent dyes don't contain any lightening agents so once your colour fades it will return back to its previous base colour. Do note that some slight staining may occur if your hair is bleached but you can dye over it once the colour has faded enough.

Pair our semi-permanent dyes with Suck it Up Hair Mask and What the Frizz Hair Serum Oil to prolong your hair colour. Refrain from using hot water and anti-dandruff shampoo when showering as that makes the colour fade faster too.

Yes the colour may bleed on wet hair so be sure to use a dark coloured towel and dry your hair after showering. The colour bleed stops after ~ 2 weeks.
